Description:
Epoxy paint for acid-resistant non-toxic coating of concrete surfaces.
Application:
Mapecoat I24 is used to coat concrete surfaces designed for contact with food products in wine, oil, confectionery industries, etc.
Mapecoat I24 is especially recommended for coating reservoirs built to contain drinking water.
Mapecoat I24 is a two-component epoxy paint. Prior to use, the components must be thoroughly mixed until complete homogeneity is obtained.
Characterized by a low viscosity, Mapecoat I24 can be applied easily on perfectly clean, solid and dry substrates by brush, roller or spray.
After the completion of the cross-linking, Mapecoat I24 forms a non-toxic protective coating that is waterproof and vapourproof.
Consumption: 400-600 g/m2 per coat depending on the type of substrate.

Mapeflex PU45

Description:
Single component, thixotropic, rapid-hardening polyurethane sealant and adhesive with a high modulus of elasticity.
Application:
Mapeflex PU45 has been specially developed for sealing expansion and distribution joints in horizontal and vertical surfaces, including those which are subject to occasional chemical attack provoked by hydrocarbons, and as a multi-purpose adhesive.

Mapegum WPS

Description:
Fast drying flexible liquid membrane for interior waterproofing.
Application:
Liquid waterproofing membrane for interior surfaces provided they are not continually immersed in water or subject to rising damp. Mapegum WPS can be used on all types of substrates such as: gypsum board walls, gypsum and cementitious renders, light-weight concrete blocks, wood, existing ceramic tiles, cementitious and anhydrite substrates, wood substrates, magnesite, hot poured asphalt. Waterproofer for bathroom and shower walls and floors before installing ceramic tiles and natural stone; waterproofing kitchen floors and walls and counter tops before installing ceramic tiles.
N.B.: Mapegum WPS has been certified by the following institutes as a waterproofing membrane for damp environments, to be applied underneath tiled surfaces.
- Säurefliesner (Germany): tested in accordance with current standards.
- SP Swedish National Testing & Research Institute (Sweden): tested in accordance with BKR Standards (Building Ceramics Council).
- Norwegian Research & Building Institute: tested in accordance with current standards.

Technical data:
Formation of surface skin: 1 hour.
Complete drying (2 mm of thickness at 23ºC): 5 hours.
Waiting time: 1-2 hours between each coat; 12-24 days before laying ceramic.
Colour: light grey.
Application: by trowel, with a roller or by spraying.
Storage: 24 months. Protect from frost.
Consumption: 1.5 kg/m2 per mm of thickness.
Packaging: 5, 10 and 25 kg drums.
